Re: is Metal unappreciated?
The answer is of course, metal bands put so much effort into their music and techniques that take years to perfect then artists who have no talent can become chart toppers like britney spears and the likes, but this is the world we live in, where artists like lily allen can make a whole album without any real instruments, hopefully the common public will realize these flauds and start liking real bands from metal and rock, not these fake pop bands.

Re: is Metal unappreciated?
Oh definitely.
The amount of skill that goes into learning their instruments and then practising them every spare moment is just amazing.
And when you see bands like All Shall Perish performing live, it is just mind blowing. The sheer technicality of it.
Yet most people who don't like metal think that no skill whatsoever is involved and that is the most ignorant comment you could possibly make.
Well.

I think that if Metal is not appreciated by everyone is a right thing, good music must remain underground... only for a few people who really understand it. When there are too much money around a thing, it become commercial and not true.

No problem I agree with what your saying but still it deserves more appreciation.

Metal is unappreciated, with lots of teens listening to sugary pop garbage and rap. Metal artists actually take time to practice their instruments, and, write their own songs and riffs. They actually have skill.

Yeah, it takes so much skill, practise and hard work to be in a metal band.
